    The Banking Law and Practice in India book has been recast strictly according to the latest syllabus of various Universities.

    • A new Chapter on e-Banking has been added in view of growing importance and the use of e-banking.
    • The book incorporates the important changes made in the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 by the Public Financial Institutions Laws (Amendment) Act, 2003. The amendment has added new teeth to ensure compliance of its new provisions. This will enhance the acceptability of cheques as a mode of payment.
    • The book also includes Banking Laws (Amendment) Act, 2012 paving the way for setting up new private banks as it will strengthen the regulatory role of the Reserve Bank of India.
