An attempt has been made in this book to provide a broad-based introduction to Cost & Management Accounting for those who need to acquire an understanding of the main concepts and their practical application in decision-making. It is particularly aimed at non-accounting students who are following a module/subject in accounting and finance as a part of University’s course like B. C. A., M. C. A., M. B. A., Engineering etc.
While writing this text, the author has particularly been mindful that most of the readers would not have studied accounting before. As such, efforts have been made to write in a lucid and simple language and also in an accessible style avoiding technical jargon. Although the book is purely based on the course contents prescribed by the U. P. Technical University Lucknow for M. B. A. Students, it will also be useful to other professional students.
