• Unit IV : Science, Environment and Medical Science (1) Science and Technology in Ancient India, (2) Ancient system of Environmental Management, (3) Traditional system of medicine in ancient India-Yoga and Naturopathy, (4) Indian Numeral System and Mathematics.
• Unit V : Indian Economic Traditions (1) Concept of land, Forest and Agriculture., (2) Industry, inland trade Commerce, (3) Maritime Trade.
